NASHVILLE, TN (March 29, 2023) – Nashville-based nonprofit CreatiVets and Big Machine Label Group’s impactful campaign continues today in honor of Vietnam Veterans Day with the release of “You’re Not Alone” featuring Chris Gelbuda, available now. Vietnam Veteran Rodger Reynolds and Marine Veteran Richard Casper, who is also CreatiVets’ Co-Founder/Executive Director, joined forces with singer/songwriters Gelbuda and Johnny Bulford to pen the moving song, offering reassurance during the chorus: When you’re standing on the edge and you’re looking down / When you’re a stranger walking through your own hometown / When there’s too much weight and no more rope / Just know that I’ve been there, so you’re not alone.

CreatiVets has helped more than 1,000 combat veterans since its founding in 2013 — with more than 400 veterans participating in its songwriting programs to date. The organization’s utmost goal is to end veteran suicide by offering alternative ways to cope with trauma, using the arts as a therapeutic cornerstone in the road to recovery.
