NASHVILLE, TN (May 1, 2018) – Northern California charmer TYLER RICH will make his national television debut next Monday (5/7), performing “The Difference” on NBC’s TODAY during the Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb-hosted 10am hour (all time zones). His new single on The Valory Music Co. is available now through all digital partners and has already crossed over 3.2 million streams ahead of the prominent appearance.
Tyler’s infectious energy and passion are on full display throughout the music video for “The Difference,” which features his real-life fiancée Sabina Gadecki and their dogs Abby and Charlee venturing around his current home base of Nashville. While Rhett Akins, Ben Burgess, Devin Dawson and Jacob Durrett penned the song, Tyler immediately gravitated towards the lyrics: “There’s a difference between ‘miss ya’ and ‘I miss your face’ / There’s a difference in ‘what’s goin’ on’ and ‘baby, how was your day’ / Yeah, there’s a hell of a difference in sayin’ three words / Or kinda just meanin’ two / There’s a difference in ‘love ya’ and ‘I love you’ / And I wanna be the difference.”
Trading his Economics degree for another game of numbers with music, Tyler has already caught the attention of SiriusXM as a coveted Highway Find and a CMT Listen Up 2018 artist. His fanbase has grown from sold-out shows in Sacramento to performing alongside some of the genre’s top acts including Dustin Lynch, Sam Hunt, Brett Eldredge, Cole Swindell and Dan + Shay. As travels find Tyler meeting new fans and friends at radio across the country, he will open for Justin Moore during a trio of shows this week: Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN (5/2); Fourth Street Live! in Louisville, KY (5/4) and Hobart Arena in Troy, OH (5/5). Other summer dates include festivals from WYCD Hoedown (6/1), CMA Fest (6/9) and Boots & Brews Country Music Festival (6/12) to Country USA Festival (6/21).
