Multi-ACM Awards Nominee’s “Climb to Headliner is Complete” (Tulsa World) as 2018 LIFE CHANGES TOUR Kicks Off This Weekend
NASHVILLE, TN (April 9, 2018) – Reigning ACM Awards Male Vocalist of the Year THOMAS RHETT has announced his autobiographical anthem “Life Changes,” the title-track from his Billboard 200 chart-topping album (The Valory Music Co.), as his next single. “One of his most personal to date” (Rolling Stone), the song co-written by Thomas Rhett ships to Country radio today, following all three of LIFE CHANGES’ singles – PLATINUM-certified “Craving You” and “Marry Me” as well as GOLD-certified “Unforgettable – which all earned chart-topping success.
“This song is basically my autobiography in three minutes,” Thomas Rhett said. “It covers my college years, marrying Lauren, becoming a dad and the evolution of my music career. It’s definitely the most personal song I’ve ever written, but we all go through a lot in life whatever the story is, so I think the sentiment is something a lot of people can relate to.”
Over the weekend, Thomas Rhett launched his highly-anticipated LIFE CHANGES TOUR, performing for sold-out crowds in Tulsa, OK, and Las Cruces, NM. He is bringing his biggest hits and songs from his GRAMMY®-nominated third studio album to life with reimagined versions for his electric live show. First dates include ACM Awards New Male Vocalist of the Year Brett Young as well as a combination of Country Music’s freshest talent including Russell Dickerson, Jillian Jacqueline and Carly Pearce. With later dates newly on-sale this week, the fall shows will continue with Young and ACM Awards New Vocal Group of the Year Midland.

As a top nominee at the 53rd Annual Academy of Country Music Awards this weekend, broadcast LIVE from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at 8:00 PM ET/PT on the CBS Television Network., reigning ACM Male Vocalist of the Year will defend his title where he has garnered six total nominations including Album of the Year for LIFE CHANGES as both artist and producer, Vocal Event of the Year for “Craving You” (featuring Maren Morris) as both artist and producer and Video of the Year for “Marry Me.”
Thomas Rhett’s third album LIFE CHANGES (The Valory Music Co.) is the biggest, boldest-sounding record of his career, filled with a diverse batch of songs united by the “consistency of their craft” (Variety) as he stretches his sound to new limits. Highlighting his “detailed style of songwriting” (Rolling Stone), LIFE CHANGES was an instant hit, debuting at No. One on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart, marking the first Country release to take the top spot in 2017. The release also drew a 2018 GRAMMY® nomination for Best Country Album and has been streamed more than 400 million times. The album’s first three singles quickly climbed to the top of the Country radio charts, bringing Thomas Rhett’s No. 1 tally to 10. He was recently named iHeartRadio’s Country Artist of the Year for the second year in a row, following a CMA Triple Play award for penning three No. 1 songs within a 12-month period (“Die A Happy Man,” “Star of the Show” and Michael Ray’s “Think A Little Less”), adding to his collection of trophies from the Country Music Association, Academy of Country Music, Billboard Music Awards, CMT Music Awards and more.
