A longtime fan of the genre, Tyler’s “powerful and raw” (Rolling Stone) voice hit the Country airwaves last year with “Love Is Your Name” following a premiere on the finale of American Idol and sharing new music with radio stations nationwide. The song reached #1 on the Billboard Country Streaming Songs chart while the accompanying video has garnered over 10 million views to date.The Country format has welcomed Tyler into its family with both the Country Music Association and the Academy of Country Music inviting him to appear on their award shows and being chosen to announce the 2015 CMA nominees on Good Morning America.
On February 7, the prolific voice of the best-selling American rock band, Aerosmith will bring some “Sweet Emotion” to the Super Bowl 50 broadcast. Tyler has partnered with Skittles as the first celebrity to appear in its “Taste the Rainbow” TV campaign.
The iconic songwriter, who is considered one of music’s most recognizable, dynamic frontmen and has been cited by Rolling Stone as “one of the greatest singers of all time,” will release his first solo project on Dot Records later this year.
