NASHVILLE, TN (February 27, 2020) – RILEY GREEN received his first ACM nomination this morning (2/27) for New Male Artist of the Year. Upon hearing the news the chart-topping singer/songwriter said “It is such an honor to be nominated. The Country music community has been so accepting of me as a new artist and this for me is validation that all of our hard work is paying off. It doesn’t seem real to have my name included with all the other great nominees but I sure appreciate it.”
After the ACM Awards Riley plans to keep the party going with “Riley Green & Friends,” a special show at Mandalay Bay’s House of Blues in Las Vegas April 5, kicking off at 10PM PT. Tickets for the special performance are available at RileyGreenMusic.com with additional partners and guests to be announced in the coming weeks.
Riley is set to have a breakout year with his Top 15 and rising single “I Wish Grandpas Never Died,” an iHeartRadio Music Awards Best New Country Artist nomination, being named as part of the prestigious CRS 2020 New Faces Class as well as receiving MusicRow’s Breakout Artist of the Year at their Country Breakout Awards last week. He also recently performed a stripped down version of his current single on NBC’s TODAY SHOW.
