Filmed at the Virgin Hotel in downtown Chicago, IL the dynamic Pop vocalist coyly follows his beautiful co-star throughout the building and busy crowds as desire intensifies, leaving viewers to wonder if it is love or lust driving the chase. Director Erik White shot suggestive scenes to compliment the lyrics: “Rendezvous body language / Got me talkin’ to you / Girl I’m talkin’, talkin’ to you / Devil in her eyes / Guess I’m a sinner / Cause I can’t deny / I’m high / When I get you home / Show me how to love you.”
Wrapping just after midnight, Nick invited 100 fans to join the party. He performed for 50 B96 radio listeners the night before and two were selected, along with the station’s morning show, for round two as the cameras rolled. “I’ll admit, when I wrote ‘Get You Home’ I’m not sure I thought about how intimidating the music video might be,” laughed Nick. “It’s a really moody, sexy song that fans on the road have responded really well to so I hope this kind of fleshes out the vibe even more … and I think it will. Though, there may be a few unexpected turns!”
Since his coronation as the American Idol victor (season 14), Nick has continued to captivate audiences nationwide with his wide-range vocals and penchant for songwriting. He co-wrote the Pop and Hot AC hit “Get You Home” with Jaden Michaels, Matt Parad, Nolan Sipe, Ryan Williamson, Matt Dike, Ross Mike, Luther Rabb, Jim Walters and Marvin Young. The track shadows his debut “Beautiful Life” that served as the anthem for the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup. In the midst of introducing the new music to fans and radio, Nick is finalizing his debut album for Big Machine Records, due out this summer.
