Shaylen delivers a poignant anthem of empowerment with ‘Let Me Let You’…mixing the chandelier rattling delivery of Kelly Clarkson with the cowgirl-next-door charm of Carly Pearce, ‘Let Me Let You’ is the kind of soaring country pop power anthem that Carrie Underwood fills stadiums with.”

“Shaylen’s strong, confident vocal [on ‘Let Me Let You’] inhabits a punk edge and ripples over polished country-pop construction of careening rock guitar, eruptive percussion and a chorus tailor-made to get audiences chanting along.”

NASHVILLE, TN (June 25, 2024) – Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment today announces the signing of rising singer/songwriter Shaylen. The powerhouse vocalist joins an impressive roster of artists which includes Riley GreenChris JansonBrett YoungLady AGreylan James and Noah Hicks.

Big Machine Label Group’s Chairman and CEO Scott Borchetta comments, “Shaylen has all the right stuff… great voice, great songs, quite a bit of life experience to draw on, amazing confidence and incredible determination. She’s ready NOW.”

The Chattanooga-born, Dallas-raised artist is no stranger to Country music. Growing up with the voices of icons from Elvis Presley to Ella Fitzgerald and Willie Nelson to Janis Joplin floating through her home, Shaylen’s southern roots with Country and Gospel influences are the core of who she is as an artist. After spending a decade in Los Angeles making Pop music and garnering a strong fanbase, Shaylen found it was her time to come home. Tennessee and its music are home to her, and now that she’s back, Shaylen has established herself as the kind of artist with something to say and who is special enough to stand out.

“Shaylen is writing and recording some of the most powerful songs that speak to a generation that I’ve heard in a long time,” adds Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment’s President Jimmy Harnen.  “From Stagecoach to CMA Fest, she wows everyone from backstage interviews to her onstage performances!”

Since Shaylen took a leap of faith into Country music in 2022, she has experienced a meteoric rise, swiftly ascending to become one of the most prominent emerging female artists in the genre. Since her debut single — “What If I Don’t,” a viral hit garnering 28+ million streams just on Spotify alone — she has been carving an inimitable mark on Nashville. Shaylen has seen continued success with subsequent releases “Roots,” “Cowboys Never Cry,” “Do It Right The First Time,” “Closest Thing to Closure,” “Been There Before” and latest track “Let Me Let You.”

“Signing with Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment feels like a dream,” shares Shaylen. “I’ve looked up to Scott Borchetta, Jimmy Harnen and Julian Raymond for years and it feels surreal to be joining a roster alongside some of my favorite artists. It’s not every day you get the best of the best in this industry to hear your music and truly believe in it enough to build something bigger with you. I’m forever honored and grateful.”

Shaylen is managed by Two Hats Music Group in Nashville.

ABOUT SHAYLEN: Since Shaylen took a leap of faith into Country music in 2022, she has experienced a meteoric rise, swiftly ascending to become one of the most prominent emerging female artists in the genre. After nearly two years of writing and recording Country music, Shaylen signed a publishing deal with Sony/ATV that has given her the chance to write songs that come straight from her journal. Since her debut single — “What If I Don’t,” a viral streaming sensation on every platform garnering 28+ million streams just on Spotify alone — she has been carving an inimitable mark on Nashville. Shaylen has seen continued success with each song released: “Roots” (praised by PEOPLE Magazine), “Cowboys Never Cry,” “Do It Right The First Time,” “Closest Thing to Closure,” “Been There Before” which Billboard raved “gives off early Taylor Swift vibes at moments, but Shaylen delivers with strong, wisened confidence,” and now the latest single, “Let Me Let You” (praised by Holler). She even partnered with former Hinder frontman Austin John Winkler for a Country-infused cover of his breakout hit from 2006, “Lips of an Angel.” Earning over 100 million streams to date in just two short years, Shaylen has quickly cemented her status as one to watch. She is currently writing and recording new music for her debut project on Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment.
