NASHVILLE, TN (July 25, 2019) – Last night (7/24), Grammy-nominated trio MIDLAND brought “Mr. Lonely,” to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Watch Here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a_2v5xH2wcg.  Rolling Stone Country praised the performance saying the trio was “owning the late-night stage with a mix of sartorial flash, choreographed dance moves, and impromptu hat tosses” and that the “Country trio proves they never met a stage move they didn’t like on The Tonight Show.”

“Mr. Lonely” serves as the first single off LET IT ROLL due 8/23 on Big Machine Records. Written by Midland — singer Mark Wystrach, guitarist Jess Carson and bassist Cameron Duddy — with Shane McAnally and Josh Osborne, the fast-moving honky-tonker is a warning to guys to treat their women right, at the risk of losing them to the man always waiting to whisk them away: Mr. Lonely.

The Washington Post named Midland’s debut album, ON THE ROCKS,  “the year’s best country album” and fans agreed, propelling it to the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart. The New York Times cited their “dangerously honed sense of aesthetics and deadpan sense of humor” that also helped garner GRAMMY nods for Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group and Best Country Song, plus a 2018 ACM Awards win as New Duo/Group.

Midland has spent the last two years on the road with George Strait, Tim McGraw and Little Big Town, as well as touring around the globe. They just announced their LET IT ROLL tour which kicks off in New York City September 17 and traverses the globe to Australia throughout the fall.
