Country Newcomer To Appear At CMA Fest Next Week

An honest admission of sadness, bad behavior and accountability for the state he’s in, “You Get Me,” continues the singer/songwriter’s streak of vulnerable songs that don’t shy away from shining a light on the ugly truth.

LECADE has been absorbing three chords and the truth since he was a kid, watching his dad play in dives and legendary honky tonks across the south. Marrying his signature raw, tell-it-like-it-is storytelling with Pop-infused beats in his own music, the young artist has held tight to that tried-and-true musical ideology he was raised on. It’s on full display in “You Get Me,” which finds LECADE on the lonely side of a break-up, leaning on vices to cope. The contemporary track co-written by LECADE, Gabe Foust and Jacob Hackworth was the young talent’s latest collaboration with producer Austin Shawn, following his retrospective “Bed We Made” and “Next Town Over.”
With more than 3M monthly listeners and 100M streams globally to date, LECADE is just getting started. He will make multiple appearances at CMA Fest next week, with a performance at Whiskey Jam on Thursday, June 6, and the Good Molecules Reverb Stage on Saturday, June 8.
