NASHVILLE, TN (September 6, 2022) – Hard-charging newcomer Jackson Dean today enters the Top 10 on Country radio as his debut single “Don’t Come Lookin’” continues to soar with more than 19.5 million radio airplay audience impressions. The percussive and unpolished anthem of wily independence broke onto the scene with the highest chart debut for a new artist since 2015 and landed Dean on the Billboard Hot 100 for the first time last week.
Garnering more than 19 million on-demand streams, “Don’t Come Lookin’” and its grainy, restless sprit has captured more than just the attention of fans—the track has been featured on the hit show Yellowstone, landed on the soundtrack of Netflix’s “The Ice Road,” performed on the Grand Ole Opry and earned a slew of critical-acclaim in conjunction with his debut album, Greenbroke, (produced by Luke Dick).
“I’ve been writing and living this song kind of my whole life—when I’d leave the house to go run through the woods, I’d tell my mom, ‘if I don’t come back, don’t come lookin’’ so to see people react to it this way means a lot,” said Jackson Dean. “I hope it ignites a feeling of escapism and freedom.”
Dean recently released an acoustic version of the mischievous hit which further highlights the grit of the traveling tune and its ominous yet cheeky warning of a chorus. Watch the acoustic video here.
Currently on the road this summer with Lee Brice, it was announced last week that Jackson will join HARDY on the Wall to Wall Tour at the end of this year. For tickets and additional information, please visit www.JacksonDeanMusic.com.
