NASHVILLE, TN (October 21, 2021) – For three long-haired dudes who have been playing music together since their high school days, THE CADILLAC THREE gel on another level with their new music video. Fans can catch a joint celebration today at 4:20P CT, chatting with Jaren Johnston, Neil Mason and Kelby Ray ahead of the “Devil’s Lettuce” YouTube Premiere – participate here.
Jaren and Neil wrote the puff-puff-pass track for their second album in 2020, TABASCO & SWEET TEA. “After seeing Nashville based animator, Shane Pielock’s work in a video by local indie artist, Tomorro Tomorro, we loved how he was able to create something visually compelling and narratively complete with simple line drawings. Even if it’s just a drawing of a question mark by itself in the middle of the screen, there’s something cool about it,” explains Neil.
Jaren continues, “’The Devil’s Lettuce’ video is a fun homage to one of our favorite past times. We got some fun cameos in there too from our good, cannabis-loving friends Brothers Osborne and Brent Cobb. It’s psychedelic and crazy and perfect for the song!”
After creating in unique ways throughout the last year, they spent the last few months getting reacquainted with the road and officially marking a decade as TC3. Their 10th ANNIVERSARY TOUR rolls through more of the US before culminating in the UK and Ireland this December. Brent Cobb, whose likeness is featured in “Devil’s Lettuce” has been tapped as special guest on the international dates. Find tickets here.
“We have some pretty badass fans who show up ready to party and know all of these songs from the beginning! It’s pretty cool to be back out there jamming together night after night,” shares Kelby.
