GOING THROUGH IT? CHASE MCDANIEL’S “MADE IT THIS FAR” IS HERE TO HELP YOU THROUGH

New Track (Available Now) Encourages Listeners to See the Light in the Dark

NASHVILLE, TN (October 18, 2024) – Chase McDaniel today releases “Made It This Far” via Big Machine Records, a song meant to usher listeners through the hard times and encourage them to keep going. With the first verse being partly inspired by an acceptance speech he saw Country superstar Jelly Roll give where he declared, “the windshield is bigger than the rearview,” McDaniel used that phrase as a springboard to craft his own message about loss, despair, hope and perseverance.

“I’m so proud to be writing and releasing songs that I wish I had when I was younger,” shares McDaniel. “Thanks for finding me, and I hope ‘Made It This Far’ helps you during the times you feel like giving up.”

Written by McDaniel alongside frequent collaborators Lindsay Rimes and Josh Osborne, “Made It This Far” is a defiant anthem about refusing to let setbacks derail or discredit hard-earned progress and achievements. With a focus on overcoming past challenges or shortcomings, the song invites listeners to shift their perspectives and recognize how much they’ve grown—and how much more they have yet to conquer. From the reassuring tone of the verses to the infectious energy of the chorus, the track delivers a resonant message that the worst is behind you, set to a melody that will captivate listeners.

McDaniel has been steadfast in his pursuit to build community with and provide encouragement to his listeners through his music by being extremely raw, open and honest about the struggles he’s endured and the demons he’s had to face along the way. In fact, when he achieved his lifelong dream of stepping into the world-famous Grand Ole Opry circle, he chose to use that moment to give an incredibly moving speech about some of the hardships he’s faced and the importance of never giving up in the hopes of reaching someone who needed to hear that sentiment. Watch it HERE.

“Made It This Far” follows the summer release of “Heart Still Works,” another gripping collaboration between McDaniel, writer/producer Lindsay Rimes and GRAMMY®-winning songwriter Josh Osborne that explores a heartbroken narrator’s numbness to the world violently expelled after the sharp pain of a brutal breakup. For more information and specific tour dates, visit https://chasemcdanielmusic.com.

ABOUT CHASE McDANIEL:
Raised in the small town of Greensburg, Kentucky by his grandparents, Chase McDaniel is one of Nashville’s most tenacious singer-songwriters and shining example of how kindness, persistence and curiosity pays off. After graduating from University of Louisville, he chased his dream of Country music all the way to Nashville but the streetwise go-getter, who is no stranger to hard times, found misfortune once again—this time courtesy of the pandemic. Jobless and down to his last $12, he almost packed it up and headed home, if not for a friend who loaned him enough to cover rent for just a few more weeks. He gave this shot everything he had — in those weeks, he submitted more than 50 job applications until he got one, began working double shifts, sleeping as little as four hours a night and writing and recording with his producer and best friend Jerry Jacobs every other minute of the day. Grateful for the second chance, Chase put his heart and soul into making his music, sharing the good, the bad and the ugly – and fans have connected with his strength through vulnerability and honesty—as well as his enigmatic swagger. The self-aware “Project” landed the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Digital Sales and iTunes Country single charts and the heartbreaking track written about his sister “Your Daughter” reached No. 3 (all genre), an unprecedented feat for the 28-year-old talent, who was recently signed to Big Machine Records/Big Machine Label Group and released his debut EP Blame It All On Country Music. Now taking his Country/Rock flair and rich baritone vocals (it’s no surprise Josh Turner’s Long Back Train was his first CD) on the road in front of sold-out audiences across the country, he is aiming to help others find the light and is working on new music.
