NEW YORK, NY (August 2, 2019) – Front and Center, the critically acclaimed concert series that kicked off its ninth season earlier this month, announced that ACM award-winner, two-time CMA award-nominee, and Multi-PLATINUM selling artist Brett Young is featured in its next episode on public television (check local listings).
The ASCAP Country Songwriter-Artist of the Year has captured the hearts of fans everywhere through his honest lyrics and West Coast-meets-Southern sound, aptly dubbed “Caliville” style. On the Front and Center episode the 2018 ACM Awards New Male Vocalist of the Year performs the GOLD-selling lead single “Here Tonight” from his sophomore album TICKET TO L.A (BMLG Records) as well as hits from his PLATINUM self-titled debut, including PLATINUM-certified “Sleep Without You” and “Like I Loved You,” 2X PLATINUM “Mercy,” plus 4X PLATINUM BMI Country Song of the Year “In Case You Didn’t Know.” Filmed in partnership with Opry Entertainment, the trailer for this episode can be viewed here.
“This performance is special to me because it is one of the first times I got to perform a song from my second album in front of a crowd,” said Young. “To hear fans singing the words back to me was crazy and I am so thankful they have continued to support my music.”
Season nine of Front and Center features an all new line-up of Grammy Award winners, industry legends, emerging artists, and chart toppers. The new episodes include intimate performances from Hozier, Carly Pearce, Gary Clark Jr., lovelytheband, Robby Krieger and Friends, Chris Janson, The Head and the Heart, and Santana IV.
