NASHVILLE, TN (April 29, 2022) – As the final beat dropped on their set last night at FirstBank Amphitheater, THE CADILLAC THREE were already making some noise online with the news of a surprise show next month at Mercy Lounge. The Nashville born-and-raised trio, who cut their teeth in sweaty clubs like this before headlining across the globe, will return May 18 to one of the most impactful spots in their hometown before last call. Tickets are on sale now (Doors at 7P | Show at 8P).
“Mercy Lounge is one of the most important venues in Nashville and in the history of TC3,” shares the band. “Before our friends John Bruton and Todd Ohlhauser close the doors for their last time in May we wanted to make sure we got to have one last party together!”
While remaining resolute in their craft, TC3 is always looking to serve the wider music community – from fellow artists and songwriters to local venues and the fans who pack them. American Songwriter previously noted, “The Cadillac Three’s contribution to a year like no other can be measured in albums released, songs released (28), live-streamed shows recorded, donations collected, venues supported, mouths fed, and positive messages sent. […] the trio who has never stopped putting in the work” while Rolling Stone bluntly stated, “The Cadillac Three Sound the Alarm for Clubs in Crisis.” Now, as Mercy Lounge assembles their last concerts, TC3 is determined to bring the heat and the heart.
TC3’s freewheeling vibe and distinct sonic tendencies have cultivated a following of both Country and Rock loyalists. Stereoboard observed, “a pivotal part of how they push the envelope without losing their identity is also [singer-guitarist Jaren] Johnston’s idiosyncratic guitar work. Expertly integrating myriad styles into his aesthetic, a down and dirty rainbow of textures enliven songs that, when partnered with instinctive structural detours, Kelby Ray’s distinct lap steel-bass combo and Neal Mason’s powerfully dexterous drumming, find the trio bending numerous genres to their will without hurdling any sharks.”
Their Country Fuzz songwriting can also be heard through other superstar artists such as Tim McGraw, Thomas Rhett, Keith Urban and Jon Pardi, plus producer credits on projects from Kip Moore, Foo Fighters’ Chris Shifflett, Steven Tyler and more. TC3’s efforts have been nominated for GRAMMY, ACM and CMA International Achievement Awards. They are currently up for Planet Rock The Rocks 2022 Best International Artist.
Amplifying Miranda Lambert and Little Big Town’s 2022 THE BANDWAGON TOUR in addition to their own HILLBILLY HYPNOTIZED TOUR, TC3 has seamlessly toured alongside A-listers like Eric Church and Dierks Bentley to iconic Rockers Metallica and Aerosmith.
