RILEY GREEN MAKES SURPRISE ALBUM ANNOUNCEMENT AND TEASES TOUR AT OPENING OF NEW NASHVILLE BAR & RESTAURANT

Rising Superstar’s Third Studio Album, Don’t Mind If I Do, Set for Release on His Birthday, October 18

Along With Debuting Riley Green’s Duck Blind, Duckman Celebrates “I Wish Grandpas Never Died” Going 3X PLATINUM

Nashville, TN (September 3, 2024)  Multi-PLATINUM singer-songwriter Riley Green surprised the at-capacity crowd of industry members, family and friends at the Riley Green’s Duck Blind bar grand opening celebration today with the announcement that his third studio album, Don’t Mind If I Do, will arrive on his birthday (October 18) via Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment. In addition to being the first to hear the exciting album news, attendees got an exclusive first look at Green’s highly anticipated new bar and restaurant located in the heart of Nashville’s exciting Midtown district.

Riley Green’s Duck Blind is the rising superstar’s new business venture with Nashville entrepreneur and friend Steve Ford (Losers Nashville, Losers MGM Las Vegas, Losers Belize, DawgHouse Saloon & Sports Book at Resorts World Las Vegas). Attached and now connected to Losers, the renovated space (formerly “Winners Bar & Grill”) has been rebranded to pay homage to two integral parts of Green’s roots: southern culture and sports.

Green, affectionately nicknamed “Duckman” and a life-long duck hunting enthusiast, said, “I’ve spent many nights at Losers, and Steve, the late Erv Woolsey and team are like family to me. Riley Green’s Duck Blind will be a fun place for fans to come enjoy a game on the big screens, have a beer and listen to some good Country Music.”

Riley Green’s Duck Blind is now open to the public with a full-service bar and kitchen at 1913 Division St. The menu will include “Opening Season” appetizers like steak biscuits and duck fries, along with main course selections from “The Hunt” like bison burgers and Riley’s BBQ Chicken Wrap.

“We couldn’t bring everyone out here to celebrate and not share more exciting news with you,” Green shared from the stage. “My brand-new album Don’t Mind If I Do will be out October 18. It feels fitting that it’s coming out on my birthday because this project feels very true to who I am, where I come from and what I’ve learned along the way. I can’t wait for y’all to hear it!”

Don’t Mind If I Do, Green’s third studio album, delivers more of the signature Riley Green sound that fans can’t get enough of. Continuing down the path he set forth with Ain’t My Last Rodeo, Green leans even further into pulling inspiration from his small-town life in rural Alabama to deliver an honest, relatable and at times humorous 18-track project. Currently on an incredible hot streak, Green’s well-earned confidence in his work shines through with five of the tracks being solely written including standouts “Jesus Saves,” “Worst Way” and the title track—which finds Green reuniting with his “you look like you love me” duet partner Ella Langley, with whom he shares the hit track that has quickly seen more than 120 million global streams and is continually climbing toward the top of several viral charts. Dann Huff produced the project along with Executive Producers Scott Borchetta and Jimmy Harnen.

Following the surprise album announcement, Green revealed that another headline tour is in the works for next year and will feature some familiar faces. A larger announcement is expected later this month. Additionally, executives from Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment and Big Machine Label Group presented Green with a plaque to commemorate his self-penned hit “I Wish Grandpas Never Died” going 3X PLATINUM.

ABOUT RILEY GREEN
Riley Green has been compelling Country music fans to raise a drink, shed a tear, and, above all, celebrate where they are from, since first releasing his self-titled EP in 2018 with Big Machine Label Group. His songs like the No. 1 PLATINUM hit “There Was This Girl,” the 3X-PLATINUM-certified heart-tugger “I Wish Grandpas Never Died” (which he performed live at the 55th ACM Awards), and his chart-topping collab with Thomas Rhett, “Half of Me,” have made Riley synonymous with what Country music does best: making listeners feel something with his no-gimmick, relatable writing and classic feel.

An avid sports fan, former athlete (Jacksonville State University quarterback) and outdoorsman, Riley is riding a wave of success after being named the Academy of Country Music’s 2020 New Male Artist of the Year, a former MusicRow Breakout Artist of the Year, a CMT “Listen Up Artist,” and one of CRS’s 2020 New Faces. In 2023 Green served as direct support for Morgan Wallen and Luke Combs, playing to an average of 65,000 fans each night. Recently Green has wrapped his own headlining Ain’t My Last Rodeo tour, bringing out Tracy Lawrence and Ella Langley with him. Combs joined Riley on his third No. 1 single “Different ‘Round Here (Ft. Luke Combs),” the title track to Riley’s 2019 debut album that he re-recorded with Combs after seeing how fans connected to it.

His forthcoming third studio album, produced by Dann Huff, will arrive on his birthday, October 18 with more of the signature Riley Green fans have come to know and love from the good ol’ boy who still lives in his hometown of Jacksonville, AL. Currently on an incredible hot streak, Green’s well-earned confidence in his work shines through across the 18-track set with five of the tracks being solely written including standouts “Jesus Saves,” “Worst Way” and the title track—which finds Green reuniting with his “you look like you love me” duet partner and recent tourmate Ella Langley.
