NASHVILLE, TN (October 6, 2017) – CMA New Artist of the Year nominee Brett Young releases “Hell Yeah, Damn Right (Ole Miss Tribute)” to all digital partners today, paying homage to his alma mater University of Mississippi, where Young pitched for the Rebels’ baseball team. Inspired by the school’s popular game-day chant, the upbeat, anthemic track captures the electrifying spirit of an Ole Miss game day. The song was originally played on campus and around the town of Oxford, MS, but due to high demand, Young decided to make it available to fans everywhere digitally.

“My time at Ole Miss was so much fun and so impactful,” Young said. “I wanted to write a song to commemorate the game day experience in Oxford and in The Grove.”
