Nashville, TN (June 3, 2016) – Eli Young Band gave their fans some much-anticipated news this morning, announcing their latest single “Saltwater Gospel” across social media. Marking the band’s first single for The Valory Music Co., the song will ship to radio next week and will be available on iTunes next Friday, June 10. “Saltwater Gospel” marks the band’s first single for The Valory Music Co. and is a follow up to EYB’s three chart-topping hits “Crazy Girl,” “Even If It Breaks Your Heart” and “Drunk Last Night.”

The anthemic hook in “Saltwater Gospel” immediately transports the listener to their favorite beach, where the mystical power of the ocean melts away the troubles of everyday life – while connecting them to their own spirituality.  In less than four minutes, the track has the transformative ability to mirror the uplifting effect of the ocean, the sand and the breeze. Like the rhythm of the waves, verse-by-verse, the song lifts the listener higher and higher, with its steady pulse and soulful cadence.

The lead single will be featured on their forthcoming – and first – album for The Valory Music Co., which the band is currently in the studio recording. EYB will debut their new music at select tour dates this summer.
